This WIKI was created to
provide information for all types of libraries interested in the Next Generation Library Technologies. The
wiki explains how this WEB 2.0 technology enables users to search and browse
all library resources in one search box.
VuFind is a library resource portal designed and developed for libraries by libraries. The goal of VuFind is to enable your users to search and browse through all of your library's resources by replacing the traditional OPAC to include:

Population served & type: Academic library with 3500+ students. The library also serves, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. The surrounding community has a population of 10,000 citizens.

Requirements: According to Wikia.com screenshots are not available, has unlimited storage and bandwidth, does not allow derogatory statements, includes security and anti-spam filters. Support can be found at http://forums.wikia.com. Wikia includes statistics matrix, templates and editing.
